 NANCY

Got up, had coffee and breakfast.  Looks like rain, pretty cloudy.  John and Mark worked on the indoor bathroom - the toilet works! Yay!!

Later on, we went to town - checked out the Sally Ann and got the kids great back-to-school clothes (well, sort of...)

Took kids to the old beach, but didn't stay long - a LOT of algae in the water.  Mark and the girls went to the new beach and I went for a walk downtown - turned out to be a beautiful sunny day and HOT!  Did some shopping.  Mark then picked me up in town (had too many bags to carry, LOL!)

Later on around 7pm, we went to check out the Foley Fall Fair - such a disappointment!  We should've learned from last year!  Kids played some games.  Myra and Mark did a couple of "wild" rides (ferris wheel, tilt-a-whirl). Amber did the big blow-up slide (bouncy thing filled with air).  The band sucked, so we (John & Marian too) all decided to come home!

I got some snacks out, John and Marian worked on crossword puzzles, and Mark and the girls played Crazy 8's and Snakes & Ladders.  I did my usual word search.  It's now 11pm and the girls have gone to bed, and I'm getting another drink!

Played euchre until 1am - I was partnered with Marian and we won..but lost 2 also.

Got the painting done on the front and sides of the roof.  Have been trying all summer to get that job done!
